CENS to Attend 2014 International Hardware Fair Cologne March 9-12

Having been promoting, among other sectors, Taiwan's high-quality hardware for nearly 40 years, the China Economic News Service (CENS) will be present at this year's International Hardware Fair Cologne 2014 in Germany, to continue its mission to bridge Taiwanese suppliers with buyers worldwide.

Inaugurated in 1971, the IHF Cologne is today the world's most important and diverse trade fair for suppliers of  manual tools, power tools  and accessories, workshop and factory equipment, protective equipment, fixing and fastening technologies, furniture and small fittings, decorative metalware, window fittings, door locks, door fittings, keys, safeguarding systems, chemical products, interiors and furnishings, plumbing fixtures and fittings, building materials, elements and accessories, outside structures, automotive supplies and accessories, PTW  accessories etc.

To be held March 9-12 in the Koelnmesse this year, the biennial show had net exhibition area of over 67,000 square meters in 2012, with over 2,663 exhibitors, of which over 2,200 came from 50 foreign countries. Statistics by the organizer, Koelnmesse GmbH, showed that 47,933 visitors attended the exhibition, more than 28,000 of whom came from 134 countries.

This year's IHF Cologne will feature 2,665 exhibitors arranged in 6 major exhibition halls. Varieties of hand tools, power tools, machine tools and related accessories will be laid out in Hall 1 to 4 and 10; fixating and fastening technologies, building fittings, furniture fittings and decorative metalware will be showcased in Hall 1 to 3 and 5; Compressed air tools, high-pressure cleaners, welding and soldering equipment, industrial supplies and other products for occupation health and safety will be concentrated in Hall 4; and home improvement products from construction chemicals to plumbing fixtures  and fittings, outdoor structures, automotive accessories and PTW accessories will be on display in Hall 5.

The trade fair is remarked for not only as an effective business-to-business event, but also a leading platform to honor the world's best innovation and high-profile industrialists from  targeted sectors. This year winners will receive the EISEN 2014 Innovation Award and EISEN 2014 CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award.

Also an informative event, the exhibition will hold various forums and seminars, such as Speakers' Corner, BME Buyers Day and Expert Talks, providing attendees extensive insight into the latest market and industrial trends. Besides, with additive manufacturing increasingly a buzzword in industry, a special concurrent show for 3D printing will be held alongside for  interested visitors.

For decades, CENS has been always present at the IHF  Cologne, and will this year man the booth numbered A-014 in the Hall 3.2, where the latest buyer guides as  Hardware, Guidebook to Taiwan Hand Tools and others will be circulated to buyers, as well online buyer services and e-book content offered to meet buyers' demand.
