1. The machine body is made of high tensile Meechanite cast iron, superior rigidity, abrasion resistance, can endure large load and impact and keep high precision without deformation.
2. Spindle is made of chrome-molybdenum steel(SCM-4) material, heat treatment after carburizing, and then precision ground. It is rigid toughness to endure heavy cutting.
3. Work table and the slideways of X,Y axes are hardened and ground. (The slideway of Z-axis for DM-180 & 186 is hardened and ground,too. )
4. The slideway of X & Y axes are coated with TURCITE-B, that reduce the differential coefficient of friction on the contact surface and more wear-resistant consumption.
5. Square slideway on Y axis for DM-160 series.
6. Square slideways on Y and Z axes for DM-180 & 186 series.
7. Direct-shift ”High/Low” switch for DM-160/180/186 series.
