TAINAN PLAS 2026 to Open March 18

The 2026 Tainan Rubber and Plastics Industry Exhibition (TAINAN PLAS), organized by the Economic Development Bureau of Tainan City Government, and executed by Economic Daily News, will open from March 18 to March 21 at the Greater Tainan International Convention & Exhibition Center (ICC).

The exhibition convenes leading Taiwanese and international brands across plastics and rubber machinery, molds, raw materials, auxiliary and recycling equipment, and finished plastic products. The exhibition is considered Southern Taiwan’s largest professional trade show for the sector.

Designed to promote the regional Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition (MICE) economy while leveraging southern Taiwan’s dense plastics and rubber manufacturing clusters, the event is co-hosted by major industry associations, including the National Union Association of Plastic Product Commerce of the Republic of China, Taiwan Packaging Association, and the National Union Association of Plastic Products Commerce of Taiwan.

By providing a platform for exhibition and business matchmaking, the organizers aim to attract companies nationwide to stage events in Tainan and deepen cross-regional industry exchange.

Exhibitors include many of Taiwan’s flagship plastics and rubber machinery makers, spanning injection molding, blow molding, auxiliary equipment, and mold-processing solutions. The show exhibits materials, manufacturing equipment, processing technologies, and end-use applications, highlighting the latest products and integrated solutions.

Global demand for Taiwanese machinery has strengthened in recent years, with the U.S., India, and Japan expanding procurement sourcing. Orders from Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, and other Southeast Asian markets also remain robust.

With sustained R&D and international market expansion, Taiwan has become the world’s sixth-largest producer of plastics and rubber machinery. Through on-site exchange and benchmarking, the exhibition aims to elevate the industry’s global competitiveness.
