This BB speed sensor uses infrared sensing technique. The photodiodes is embedded inside the BB set. It is fully protected by the shaft case. Intelligent electric component and circuit design detects only forward movement and generate corresponding speed signal. This design is fully compatible with the original BB shell. Sensor can be in BB L side or R side.
