Ever Roll Machinery Offers a Diversity of Products

Ever Roll Machinery Ind. Co. Ltd., established in 1986, is an innovative manufacturer of various kinds of packaging machines. Located in Taichung County, central Taiwan, its factory, with a workforce of 40, occupies a floor area of 3,500 square meters. Its revenue have grown 10~20% in each of the past two years.

The company's wide-ranging product lineup includes carton sealers, case erectors, case packers, and strapping machines. It also handles turnkey projects. Its products are sold under its own brand, "EVER ROLL."

Approximately 20% of the firm's products are sold in the Taiwan market. The remainder is exported to over 30 countries, mainly the U.S.A., the U.K., Japan, in the Middle East, and in Southeast Asia. To ensure prompt service the company has overseas agents in markets worldwide, and has branches in Malaysia, Japan, and mainland China.

The company has two main foci to best match the needs of its customers--developing new products and improving extant equipment. Proof of the popularity of the firm's models in the Taiwan market are their utilization by numerous well-known names, all of which demand the very best in quality--Taiwan's air force, Taiwan Salt Industrial Corporation (TSIC), Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation, Wei Chuan Corporation, Uni-President Enterprises Group, Nanya Technology Corporation, and Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

The company is adept at self-developing technology, leading to patents on 20 models and CE Mark certification in 1999. Tony Ku, president of the company, says the firm "offers not only machines but also special parts, because of our ability in self-developing technology. Ever Roll can produce all types of special products to meet all conceivable customer needs if they can provide sample and/or specification. It is our competitive advantage because our self-developed skills are quite stable and mature."

This year the company plans to display its products at TAIPEI PACK (Taipei International Packaging Industry Show) from June 16 to19.
