Since its establishment in 1992, the A-Belt-Lin Industrial Co. has developed into one of the largest and most experienced safety-belt manufacturers in Taiwan. Its high-quality, durable, and reliable products are marketed under the brand-name "Abelt," which has become well known in the global safety-belt market, and are also sold under other prominent international brand names on an original equipment design/manufacturing (OEM/ODM) basis.
The company currently supplies seat belts (including racing belts) to automotive seat makers and performance parts distributors, especially in Europe and the United States (which together account for 70% of the firm`s revenues). It also supplies tow ropes, clinical-use belts, tie-downs, lifting slings, and other products to customers in a variety of industries. Most of its webbing products are made of high-end polyester and nylon yarns.
A-Belt-Lin says that it produces all key parts and components in-house, using web-weaving, web-dyeing, molding, plastic injection, and metal stamping machines, so that it can assure the highest standards of quality and safety.
The company also supplies high-quality safety-belt accessories and metal hardware to meet customers` requirements, and helps them with tooling projects as well. To meet buyers` needs, the hardware product line has been expanded into buckles and tongues as well as automotive seat rails.
To guarantee the highest quality, A-Belt-Lin`s safety belts have passed the most stringent quality and safety certifications, including FMVSS 209/302 and SFI of the U.S., CE, FIA, and E-Mark of Europe, and CNS of Taiwan.
The company has set up a well-structured division-of-labor manufacturing scheme between Taiwan and China, with a Taiwan facility housing a 20-person R&D division and the production of high-end items, and a 100-worker factory in Guangdong Province, China, that turns out big-volume, popularly priced products.
Many of the designs and functions of the company`s products are protected by patents.
To meet a global demand that is growing despite the global financial turmoil, A-Belt-Lin has decided to build a new factory in Taiwan. When it is completed next year, the new facility will boost the firm`s production capacity on Taiwan by 30% to 50%.
With its outstanding design, development, and integrated manufacturing capabilities, as well as its cross-straits division-of-labor production system, A-Belt-Lin is confident that it will be able to continue helping customers procure the products they need at the highest quality and best price.
