Eye-friendly LED lighting fixtures

Founded in 1984, Eiso Enterprise Co., Ltd., now a leading printed circuit board maker in Taiwan, is promoting several eye-friendly LED lighting fixtures including the LUNA3S6 desk lamp and T-Bar light, all equipped with the company's unique LED lighting tube, a solid crystal acrylic bar installed with a 3W or a 5W LED bulb on both ends.

Some reflective substance is applied to the back of the tube, directing illumination downward. No glare is visible on the tube from any viewing angle and maximum ambient temperature on tube surface stays at 40 degrees Celsius regardless of operation hours thanks to some proprietary thermal-dissipation solution.

The company's lighting tube produces 75 lumens of illumination per watt. Its white-light tube delivers color rendering close to 80. Color temperature ranges from 2,700 to 7,000 Kelvin. After six months of non-stop operation, the lighting tube's light output decays only 2%.

The tube has been patented in Taiwan, mainland China, the United States and Japan.

The T-Bar lighting fixture and desktop lamp have won the Taiwan government-certified Chinese National Standard (CNS) label, which verifies the qualification of a product for inclusion in Taiwan's government procurement bids. In addition, its LED lighting tube has passed the tests organized by the state-run Veteran General Hospital, proving its suitability for hospital lighting.

Certified with UL, ISO9001 and QS9000, Eiso recently branched out into LED lighting segment. (KL)
