Yieh Chen Provides Machines With High Thread-Rolling Accuracy

Yieh Chen Machinery Co., Ltd., founded in 1988, specializes in the creative development of thread-rolling machines, with a production facility in Changhua City, central Taiwan. The company boasts it is Taiwan's No.1 specialist in the manufacture of machinery models for the production of hooks, snaps, buckles, shackles, electric parts, springs, clamps, paper clips, and oil seals.

"Our reasonably priced machines are comparable in quality to those made by Japanese or German manufacturers," says Maclin Hwang, general manager of the company. "Thanks to our long-term efforts to develop automatic systems, our machines dramatically increases a user's production efficiency and effectively upgrades their end-product quality."

The company's major product lines include thread-rolling machines, gears, shafts, collets, thread-rolling dies, forming machines, spring-making machines, honing machines, special-purpose machines, molds, and tools. Recently it has also successfully developed YC-series spline-rolling machines ,which feature superior thread-rolling accuracy.

The ISO9002-certified company sells machines designed in-house under the 'Yieh Chen', 'Allstar', and 'Six Star' brands. The 'Yieh Chen' and 'Six Star' brands are used for its thread-rolling machines and dies, forming machines, and spring-making machines. Products in other lines are marketed under the 'Allstar' brand. Gears and shafts are sold to foreign customers on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) basis.

The firm's thread-rolling models are designed for high-speed, fully automated production of a wide variety of threads, including single-strand thread, double thread, and triple thread. The heavy machine is constructed for high stability and durability, and features an extremely powerful spindle motor. The combination of thread-rolling machine and bar feeder provides maximized productivity and great savings in terms of labor costs.

Unit prices for Yieh Chen's products range from US$2,700 up to US$170,000. At present, mainland China accounts for 40% of its overall exports, the Americas take 30%, Europe 20%, and other areas 10%.
