Taiwan 9N9 International Co., Ltd. Is a specialized maker of aerodynamic body kits and performance- tuning accessories for modified cars. With strong design and manufacturing capability, 9N9's products give modified cars a brilliant appearance and improved aerodynamic characteristsics.

9N9 supplies a wide range of aerodynamic modification parts and tuning accessories, including a full range of bumpers, grills, bumper lips, side skirts, spoilers, racing mirrors, carbon- based engine hoods, and wide-body kits, as well as various accessories such as racing pulleys, racing paddles, and gearshift-lever knobs. The company closely adheres to the latest fashion trends and immediately develops new items by following the industry's leading brands.

9N9 president Banny Tsai says that his company produces all of its aerodynamic body kits products in-house, from mold and die development to manufacturing. Currently, says Tsai, the firm is the most comprehensive supplier of aerodynamic body parts for Mercedes-Benz and BMW car models and one of the most complete-range suppliers of such products to various Japanese auto brands including Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan and Subaru.

As the car-modification line in Taiwan is still relatively small, Tsai says that his company closely follows the world's top tuning brands, including AMG, Brabus, Lorinser, and Carlsson for Mercedes-Benz models and AC, Hartge, Hamann, and M3/M5 for BMW models. It designs and makes lookalike versions of these brands' models, but priced at a much lower level. As the company strictly follows every curve and line of the original items, Tsai says, 9N9's products have the same aerodynamic-improvement functions and appearance-enhancement creativity.

9N9 has been constantly making advances in adopting newer and better materials to make products better and more price-competitive. In addition to the mainstream FRP material for making body parts and spoilers, the company is the first local company to make the PUF (PU+FRP) bumpers and spoilers, which have the PU surface layers on FPR structures. Tsai says that the PUF products have won extremely hot market responses in its major markets in the U.S., Europe and Japan as they have the same touch feeling, quality and hardness of original PU counterparts but the prices are much lower.

In addition, 9N9 is also actively developing ABS and PUR (soft rubber) spoilers, which are lighter and stronger and suffer less deformation.

9N9 develops three to four new items per month, with the designs based on its own market observations or on order specifications from customers. The company has accumulated over 130 sets of molds and dies in the past 11 years, and produces all of its aerodynamic body kits at a 15- employee plant in northern Taiwan's Wuku, just west of Taipei.

Tsai says that his company has developed and is working actively on many new items, including ansheet-metal engine hood for Mitsubishi's Evolution racing car as well as many aerodynamic kits for BMW's E36 and E46 sport models.
