Plotech, HannStar Board to shift listing from OTC to TSE

Taipei, Aug. 1, 2003 (CENS)--Plotech Co., Ltd. And HannStar Board Corp., two local PCB (printed circuit board) manufacturers listed on the local over-the-counter (OTC) bourse, are officially permitted to transfer their listing to the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) in September.
Plotech recorded revenue of NT$1.146 billion, pretax profit of NT$224 million, after-tax profit of NT$177 million, and net (after-tax) earnings per share (EPS) of NT$3.53 last year. The company's net EPS for last year was the highest among all local PCB makers listed on either the OTC or the TSE.
Plotech dealt out a dividend per share of NT$2.5, NT$2.2 in stock and NT$0.3 in cash, for last year's operation. The company's capital, after ex-right on June 13, has increased to NT$618 million, barely meeting the minimum capital requirement for listing on the TSE.
Plotech projects revenue of NT$1.949 billion (up 30.37% from last year), pretax profit of NT$300 million (up 33.93%), after-tax profit of NT$224 million (up 26.55%), and net EPS of NT$3.59 for this year.
HannStar Board specializes in producing PCBs used in notebook PCs. The company reaped net EPS of NT$1.73 last year and forecasts revenue of NT$2.53 billion, pretax profit of NT$167 million, after-tax profit of NT$124 million, and net EPS of NT$1.16 for this year.
