Taipei, Aug. 19, 2003 (CENS)--RF-Link Systems Inc., a local manufacturer of RF (radio frequency) wireless communication products listed on the local over-the-counter bourse, will offer wireless modules for use in LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs in September.

RF-Link Systems specializes in applying RF technology to a variety of wireless products of audio/video consumer electronics, home security, data communication, and gaming.

The company originally planned to develop wireless modules used in LCD TVs through cooperation with South Korean makers of electric home appliances and retail networks in the U.S. and Europe to meet their specifications.

But because of better market response than originally expected, RF-Link Systems later has developed various models of wireless modules catering to LCD TVs of different brands and models so as to enjoy a larger international market. The product line will be offered in September.

With RF-Link Systems' wireless modules, cordless display screens of LCD TVs can be mobile indoors for two hours after electric recharge. Moreover, the cordless screens can be used in PC monitors.
