Premium Taiwan Textile Supplier Zone to be Set Up at ispo Winter

Taipei, Jan. 23, 2009 (CENS)--The Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) will set up a special zone in the Taiwan Pavilion at the ispo Winter slated for Feb.1-4 in Munich. Commissioned by the Bureau of Foreign Trade in Taiwan, TTF coordinated the efforts of 16 selected domestic textile suppliers to set up the "Taiwan Premium Textile Supplier Zone" at the upcoming trade fair to showcase a range of functional fabrics and apparel.

The dedicated zone will not only showcase the excellent textiles made in Taiwan, but also allow more efficient deal making for buyers. Also, specialized professionals and TTF staffers will be available to show products and functions to visitors.

As a global leader in chemicals, Taiwan has developed a vast range of high performance, functional, eco-friendly textiles, becoming recognized as an international sourcing hub.

SINGTEX will be among the island's most prominent fabric manufacturers at ispo, with the firm focused on R&D of new fashions, functional and environment-friendly fabrics.

Another domestic exhibitor to be at ispo is Li Peng Enterprise, famous for the LIBOLON nylon, which is dedicated to developing delicate and high-value-added products.

Also to be exhibiting at ispo is Everest Textile Co., currently one of the few vertically- integrated textile firms in Taiwan, which manufactures filament and staple textiles combining high technology with fashion concepts.
