Its years of dedication to developing innovative products has helped to build a solid reputation at home and abroad.
Capitalized at NT$80 million, the company has 70 workers capable of generating NT$300 million in annual sales. Since 1997, the company has been partnering with PLACO of Japan to develop and improve gearboxes for plastic injection molding machines, which has helped the maker to build substantial growth in sales.
The company boasts it has sold 9,500 gearboxes from 2002 to the end of 2009, during which the maker installed the world's most advanced gearbox grinding machines from Germany to improve product quality and boost production capacity. The German machinery has enabled the company to meet DIN1-grade grinding standards in-house.
Sun Lung says it complies with the AGMA standards to develop the structure for gearbox which has the features of optimal transmitting efficiency, low noise, and high torque. To ensure the quality of its products and meet the eco-friendly standards, the company adopts the SKF-branded high-precision bearings and NOK oil seals.
Sun Lung has a factory of 43,200 square feet in Anping Industrial Park of Tainan City, southern Taiwan, and has 200-strong regular customers at home and abroad.
The company's products are suitable for machinery used in printing, plastic injection, extrusion, screw, shipbuilding, cement plants, paper mills, steel rolling, and machine tools etc.
The ISO-9002 and CE Mark-certified company employs strict manufacturing procedure in tandem with computerized management process to guarantee the rollout of quality-consistent gears.
Sun Lung has exported products to more than 10 nations, mainly Japan, the U.S., Germany, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, mainland China and some Middle East nations.
