Taiwan's Plastics Laminating Machinery Makers Offer High-Performance Turnkey Lines

Taiwan's plastic laminating machine manufacturing sector goes back four decades, so most makers boast of having over three decades of development and manufacturing experience, as well as having global market share.

Having broken ground in upgrading operating speed and production efficiency, the makers in Taiwan have successfully penetrated industrialized nations as well as Southeast Asia.

The government-backed Plastics Industry Development Center (PIDC) says the number of local plastic and rubber-processing machinery makers exceeds 250, many of which capable of rolling out plastic laminating machines. About three-quarters of the makers turn out plastic injection-molding machinery, with another quarter rolling out extrusion machines.

The Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) notes Taiwan-made plastics and rubber processing machines are mainly exported to China and Hong Kong, the United States, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Germany, South Korea, and Canada.

The generally promising recovery in China has also driven improving performance in this sector in Taiwan since the fourth quarter of last year, with continual uptrend expected for the next few months.

Extrusion Laminator
