Year-Chance Machinery Co., Ltd., founded in 1996, has been dedicated to the development and production of plastic-injection molding machines and bakelite machines. The firm now operates a plant of 6,000 square meters in Yungkang of Tainan County, southern Taiwan, and another plant in Jiangsu Province, China.

In addition to plastic injection molding machine, the company's major product lines also include bakelite machines, injection-molding machines, plastic-injection molding machines for PET preforms, thermosetting injection molding machines, two-color injection molding machines, direct hydraulic clamp injection molding machines, and energy-saving injection-molding machines.

With an in-house research and development department, Year-Chance mainly uses own manufacturing technologies to roll out state-of-the-art machines.

The company produces a wide range of plastic injection molding machines with clamping forces of between 25 and 2,500 tons, which can fully meet customers' special requirements. The injection speed of some of its machines can reach 1,200 mm/sec.

Year-Chance continually updates its technology and introduces the most advanced equipment. It cooperates with many research institutes and testing centers to develop innovative products. Such efforts have paid off, as the firm has won ISO9001, CE certifications, and has six self-designed models patented.

With a workforce of 60, the company is capable of rolling out 80 plastic injection-molding machines, among others, per month. To meet customers' requirements and the market trend, the company will soon introduce two-plate injection-molding machines.

The firm's products are sold under its own-brand Year-Chance, with mainland China absorbing 60% of its exports, compared to 20% for domestic sales, and 20 percent shipped to the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia and the United States, according to Huang Shih-hsien, president of the company.

Year-Chance will be displaying its innovative products at the Taipei International Plastic & Rubber Industry Show slated for March 5-9 at the Taipei World Trade Center.
