Shini Plastics Technologies, Inc., founded in 1969 in Taiwan, specializes in the development and production of various kinds of ancillary equipment for the plastics forming industry.

Thanks to its long-term efforts to develop innovative plastics ancillary equipment, the company boasts it has built good reputations around the world for its own Shini-branded products.

Headquartered in Taipei County of northern Taiwan, Shini has branched out to Dongguan of Guangdong province, Ningbo and Pinghu of Zhejiang province in mainland China and has set up a branch office in India.

Major products supplied by Shini Group include drying and dehumidifying series, feeding and conveying series, dosing and mixing series, heating and cooling series, granulating and recycling series, robots and hot-runner products.

General manager Tom Wu joined Shini Group in 1999. He began from such basic-level positions as technician and R&D engineer, and was appointed as general manager of Ningbo plant since 2002 and has also taken charge of Pinghu plant since 2010.

Under Wu's leadership, the Ningbo plant obtained the title of “technologically advanced enterprise” in Ningbo and “high-tech enterprise” in Zhejiang province. The Pinghu plant was inaugurated in Feb. 2010.

Shini Plastics Technologies, Inc. (Pinghu) is now responsible for marketing in Eastern and Northern China and manufacturing of a full range of products , as well as providing technical services.

With initial investment of 80 million renminbi, the Pinghu plant employees 450 workers. In the near future, the plant will increase the number of employees to 1,000 and will then be able to generate 500 million renminbi in annual revenue. (BS)
