CNC-TAKANG Co., Ltd., established in 1994, has amassed abundant expertise in the development and production of heavy duty, ultra-low-speed CNC (computerized numerically controlled) lathes and machining centers. The firm is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of CNC machine tools, as well as the island's earliest manufacturer of double spindle, double turret CNC lathes.

Among the firm's present product lines are conventional, CNC lathes (flat & slant bed), double spindle & double turret CNC lathes, CNC vertical lathes, special drilling machines for flange of oil industry, vertical machining center, high-speed vertical machining centers, double column machining centers, high-torque heavy duty CNC lathes, and oil country big bore lathes, etc.

Thanks to its long-term dedication to developing sophisticated machine tools, CNC-TAKANG has recently introduced some state-of-the-art products, including heavy-duty, ultra-low-speed CNC lathes and vertical machining centers.

Company president Wilson Leou says his company has invested heavily in installing high-grade instruments for testing and inspection to ensure high quality of all the products rolled out from its plant located in Taichung Industrial Park of Taichung City, central Taiwan.

A majority of CNC-TAKANG's output is exported to foreign markets, mainly mainland China, Southeast Asian nations, the U.S., Canada, and European Union nations. The company claims that it is now capable of shipping eight sets of double-column machining centers a month, compared to only three a year ago. The company says it has received enough orders to fully book its production lines till the end of this year. (BS)
