Everox Industrial Co., Ltd., founded in March 2000 in Taichung County, central Taiwan, specializes in the manufacture of bed-type milling machines, heavy-duty bed-type CNC (computerized numerically controlled) milling machines, powerful floor-type flatbed CNC lathes, heavy-duty precision lathes, and vertical machining centers.
The company now exports 80% of its total output under own brand of Everox. Most of its flatbed lathes go to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the U.S., while its bed-type milling machines are generally destined for Brazil, Germany, and Southeast Asia.
The firm's president Steven Yeh attributes the strong demand for his company's machines to their reasonable pricing and high performance. “Our CNC milling machines are nearly as accurate as the more expensive machining centers made by our competitors in industrialized countries,” he says.
Everox is currently developing machining center models with 1,150mm, 1,300mm, and 1,500mm in X-axis travel capacities, respectively. The company says it can equip its automated milling machines and lathes with any kind of industrial CNC controllers.
Recently the company introduced the EBL 1200/1400 CNC floor-type flatbed lathe which features spindle bore of 230, 255, 360 and 410mm. With four-step hydraulic auto shift gear in spindle head, the machine can handle powerful cutting job for large-sized workpieces. The Z-axis is equipped with twin ball screws to enhance its machining accuracy and stability in operations, suitable for heavy-duty cutting.
The company is a frequent participant in international and regional machine tool shows. For instance, the company usually takes part in the machine tool shows held in Taipei of Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia, and Bangkok of Thailand. (BS)
