Taipei, Jan. 11, 2011 (CENS)--With its business keeping growing steadily, the Taiwan-based Rechi Precision Co., Ltd., a compressor manufacturer, is confident of challenge annual sales of over 10 million compressors in 2011.

Rechi indicated that some factors, like downstream manufacturers' inventory draw and drastic climate changes, have fueled global demand for air conditioner compressors, thus helping to keep the firm's business booming throughout 2010.

The firm sold over 8.66 million units during the first eleven months of 2010, representing an 80% increase from a year earlier, and its 11-month combined revenue amounted to NT$11.538 billion, up 93% year-on-year. Hopefully, the firm is expected to achieve 9.3 million units fore the entire year.

To attain a sales goal of over 10 million compressors in 2011, the firm is determined to explore the North American market for central conditioning system compressors, in addition to boosting production of commercial and inverter air conditioning models.

Besides, the firm has also planned to diversify manufacturing into higher-end heat pumps for commercial water heaters and dryers and inverter controllers to secure another business growth drive for this year. Aiming for maximum capacity of 11 million pumps, the firm has spent NT$500 million setting up a new production line at its China factory, which will add 1.5 million units to its total output after becoming operational in March.

Institutional investors have projected the firm's pretax profits for the first 11 months of 2010 at NT$441 million, or NT$1.28 per share. With sales continuously trending upward, the firm is likely to push up the figure to NT$551 million, or NT$1.4 per share, for the full year.
