Manford Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 by its president Hsieh Su-yen to focus on the development, manufacture and sales of various kinds of precision machines, milling machines, and surface grinding machines.
At present, the company's major product lines include mini machining centers, vertical machining centers, vertical turret milling machines, vertical bed-type milling machines, CNC (computerized numerically controlled) milling machines, vertical turret milling machines, double-column machining centers, etc.
Manford currently operates four factories in Taiwan and mainland China with a branch office in the U.S. The company's products have been sold to five continents, with major customers coming from the sectors of aeronautics, transportation, automobile, medicine, shoes, high-tech electronics, etc.
The company's R&D department focuses on the development of machinery models featuring high precision, high speed, high feeding rate, large size (two-meter machining centers), compositeness (five-axis machining centers), and easy operation (i-console intelligent man/machine interface).
