Yih Chuan Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., founded in Taichung City of central Taiwan in 1973, is one of the island's leading manufacturers of a variety of machine tools. The company uses the logo of “Extron” to market its products worldwide.

At present, the company's major product lines include bench lathes, CNC and conventional milling machines, double-column machining centers, high-speed machining centers, and five-axis machining centers, etc. There are more than 25,000 machines produced by Yih Chuan are in use worldwide.

Yih Chuan's DW-86U five-axis machining center features high rigidity and reliable structure (double column) design. All axes are linear guide way to support rapid feed. With machine travel of 800x600x510mm, the machine features spindle sped of 15,000rpm and direct drive spindle design. With table dimension of 500mm, the machine fits w/Siemens 840D control system for mold making.

The company's SU-40 five-axis machining center features swivel head design, 1020x540x770mm in three-axis travel, built-in spindle design, and BT40 taper w/-15,000rpm. All axes are linear guide to support rapid feed. The machine fits with PC-based control system.
