Precision components for grinding machines

Gin Chan Machinery Co., Ltd., established in 1988, is a professional manufacturer of precision accessories for grinding machines and milling machines. The company uses ‘GIN' brand to distribute products the world over.

Based on its long-term operating spirit to pursue excellent quality, the company has won many patents. With a factory of 500 square meters at Wuku Industrial Zone, northern Taiwan, the company employees 30 workers to focus on precision machinery parts and components.

To meet influx of orders from abroad, last year Gin Chan set up a second plant of 3,000 square meters in Sulin of New Taipei City to expand production capacity. The second plant specializes in the development and manufacture of precision accessories for grinding machine and milling machines. Thanks to the expanded production capacity contributed by the second plant, the company began receiving OEM (original equipment manufacturer) orders.

To extend services to Taiwanese-invested firms located in mainland China, Gin Chan established a subsidiary and a plant of 3,000 square meters in Guangdong province in 1997. At present, the plant mainly produces molds and parts and serves an after-sale service center.

Andy Chang, president of Gin Chan, says his company has an in-house research and development department in charge of developing innovative products to meet the ever-changing demand of customers from around the world.

Currently the company's major product lines can be divided into three major categories, including accessories for grinding machines; accessories for milling machines and boring head; and accessories for mold & die. At present the company's major export outlets include Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, European, the U.S. and Latin America.
