Taipei, Dec. 9, 2011 (CENS)--Benefiting from the launch of iPhone 4S in Asia, Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd., a large-sized Taiwanese supplier of connectors, scored better-than-expected sales revenue of NT$8.123 billion in November, up 5% from NT$7.713 billion posted a month ago, or 23% from a year ago.

Along with heavy promotion of iPhone 4S, institutional investors pointed out that the company's chain stores franchised by Apple, namely Studio A, operating in Asian markets, including Hong Kong and South Korea, also contributed to its robust revenue growth seen in the month.

They stated that sales coming from these franchised stores will surely continue to bolster the company's business performance in the months to come, considering that those in Taiwan, scheduled to start retailing iPhone 4S on December 16, have received preorders for nearly 400,000 units of the product for the moment.

Most agree that the company has experienced a good time so far this year, which can be proven by the fact that its combined revenue has amounted to NT$74.639 billion over the past 11 months of this year, for a 31% increase over a year earlier. Institutional investors indicated that the company is likely to finish the year with revenue of over NT$82 billion, an all-time high, with full-year EPS (earnings per share) to exceed NT$5.

The investors have projected the company's revenue to keep trending upward in 2012, partly because of the launch of iPad 3, and partly because the company will open 30-50% more Studio A to operate a chain of over 120 retail stores in Asia.

Therefore, the company has been widely believed to report annual revenue of over NT$100 billion for the first time in 2012, with EPS of more than NT$6.
