Taipei, April 24, 2012 (CENS)--Dinli Metal Industrial Co., a major all terrain vehicle (ATV) exporter in Taiwan, recently unveiled its latest 800cc motorcycle at the 2012 Taiwan International Motorcycle Industry Show (Motorcycle Taiwan), which is the biggest-displacement motorcycle with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) made by a Taiwanese company.

T.Y. Lu, Dinli's chairman, claimed that the company plans to launch the 800cc motorcycle in Taiwan in August, and expects to sell some 8,000 units per year (including 4,000 in Taiwan and 4,000 abroad), stressing that the new model is priced only about half of the same-displacement Japanese counterparts, and that Dinli also plans to launch a 1,100cc motorcycle.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the company's eponymous line of ATVs are already famous in many European nations as Austria, France, Sweden, Germany etc.

The launch of the 800cc motorcycle, Lu claimed, will help drive Dinli's revenue gains, and that the 800cc motorcycle is equipped with a high-torque engine and automatic transmission to make riding easier for women and seniors.

Headquartered in Taichung, central Taiwan, Dinli started by making motorcycles and engines, then began producing ATVs in 1996, and now globally markets products under the Dinli brand.
