Nike Machinery Supplies Beefed-up LED Work Lights for Machine Tools

Taipei, July 9, 2012 (CENS)--The Taiwan-based Nike Machinery Co., Ltd., a maker of work lights, adjustable coolant nozzles, fixed point nozzles and magnetic stands for machine tools, supplies beefed-up LED work lights to broaden its product portfolio.

The company's LED work lights include linear lights, spot lights and ordinary lights, all of which are developed by its cutting-edge technologies learnt from Japan to feature use of high-power LED and waterproof and dustproof designs. Long lifespan is a bonus of the series, which has been tested to keep working for 40,000 hours under a 40-degree-celcius environment without luminous decay occurring.

Meeting IP67 standard and certificated by CE Mark, the series, special for machine tools and specialty machinery, is comparable with models made in Japan and Germany in quality, but sells at 50% cheaper prices.

Based on his observations, the company's Japanese executive indicated that many machine tool makers in the country have actively built LED work lights into their products to follow the eco-friendly trend. This is also commonly seen in Taiwan, the executive added, as Nike Machinery's LED work lights have been increasingly recognized and heavily ordered by local large-sized machine tool makers since they were launched a year ago.

The company now turns out about 2,000 units of various LED work lights for machine tools every month to lead the sector in Taiwan, with some exported to Japan under its own brand, Nikke.
