First International Motorcycle Show to Roll in Taiwan on Oct. 27

Taipei, June 2, 2006 (CENS)--The first Taiwan International Motorcycle Industry Show (Motorcycle Taiwan), the world's only exhibition?that brings exhibitors from throughout the motorcycle industry together, will be held October 27-29 this year.

According to show organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), a total of some 120 exhibitors are expected to showcase their high-quality, new, and innovative products at Exhibition Hall 3, Taipei World Trade Center, using 300 booths,

Major exhibition themes at Motorcycle Taiwan 2006 include complete vehicles (motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, electric scooters, and electric bicycles), engine and parts, vehicle frames, accessories, riding accessories, vehicle testing and inspection equipment, and noise and emissions testing equipment.

During the show period, TAITRA will simultaneously hold a series of industry seminars where key figures in the motorcycle industry will share their opinions and experiences on topics such as industry-development trends for powered two-wheelers (PTWs), ATVs, and electric scooter lines, as well as on the market status of such products.

TAITRA claimed that more than 86 leading companies had?registered for participation as of mid-May, including complete-PTW makers?like Luntai Enterprise, Access Motor, Keen Perception, and Lidao Motor; and power-assisted bicycle manufacturers Ideal Bike, Kentfa Advanced Technology, and KOC Industry. Manufacturing and inspection equipment suppliers will also showcase their products at the coming event, including Super Tooling, Soco Machinery Co., and Sowat Motorcycle Tools; and motorcycle parts and accessories companies?like Asia United Manufacturing, Tung Pei Ind., Chun Yu Works, Tong Yah Ind., PPM Co., Nan Hoang Traffic Instrument, and Chang Nan Battery Ind. Co.

TAITRA stressed that it is organizing the first international motorcycle show in Taiwan with four major aims, including Showcasing the Capability of ''Made by Taiwan,'' Motorcycle Design and Innovation, ATV Trends, and Tuning and Performance Enhancing Parts.
