Founded in 1997, the ISO 9001-approved Chein Mei Trade Co., Ltd. is a veteran maker specializing in high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) elastic products, including rubber bands, elastic rings, elastic cords etc.

Aiming to lead the sector in Taiwan offering the best-quality products, Chein Mei insists on adopting imported, special TPU resins to make and process into  TPU elastic rings. Backed by steady product R&D, the company has successfully developed two-color TPU elastic rings, which have proven popular with global customers.

Chein Mei says all its products are tested and approved non-toxic and RoHS certified by SGS, EU regulation REACH via non-toxic material testing standards.

The firm's TPU rings are eco-friendly, biodegradable, heat-, oil-, freeze-resistant, non-sticky, anti-scaling, sulfide-free and won't harm hair or electronic products. The elastic rings are multi-functional to suit tying gifts, high-end electronic products, computer accessories and even foods. The maker advocates using TPU rings instead of conventional rubber bands that contain harmful materials.

To further develop the European market, Chein Mei set up a branch in Malmo, Sweden in 2010 to provide direct and more satisfactory services to regional customers.
