CPV series of vertical machining centers

Founded in 2003 to specialize in CNC machining centers, Campro Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. is promoting the CPV and CPV-B series of vertical machining centers, which can cut a rough workpiece into a refined product without using polishing or grinding machines for the refinement processing.

Occupying less than three square meters in footprint, the CPV series is specifically developed for 3C-components (consumer electronics, computer and communications-components) processing. The series comes in 550-millimenter, 750-millimeter, 900-millimeter, 1,100-millimeter and 1,300-millimeter models in terms of X-axis travel distance.

For CPV-550V and CPV-750 models, X/Y/Z axis traverse is 30 meters by 30 meters by 30 meters per minute, compared with 36 meters by 36 meters by 24 meters per minute for CPV-900 and CPV-1100 models and 24 meters by 24 meters by 24 meters per minute for CPV-1300 model. Depending on product model, the series' spindle turns at 8,000, 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 revolutions per minute.

Compared with the lightweight workpieces that the CPV series is designed for, the CPV-B series is developed for heavy-duty cutting on components used in cars, motorcycles, molds, aircrafts, and medical equipment with its all-square guideway structure. The series is composed of CPV-850B, CPV-1100B, CPV-1200B, CPV-1400B, and CPV-1600B models, which refer to the X axis travel distance of 850mm, 1,100mm, 1,200mm, 1,400mm and 1,600mm.

Given the heavy-duty purpose, the CPV-B series turns spindle at the slower speed of 6,000-8,000 RPM to generate higher torque force. X/Y/Z-axis traverses are 20mm X 20mm X 20mm, 20mm X 20mm X 15mm, 15mm X 15mm X 15mm, and 15mm X 15mm X 125mm, respectively, depending on model. The CPV-B series is slightly bigger than CPV series, occupying four to five square meters.

Thorough quality inspection using laser and ball-bar measurement based on international standards is conducted before the shipment.
