ONPRO Launches UC-MFIM Lighting Cable for iPhone

On if lighting cables can only look the same, the Taiwan-based ONPRO Electronics Co., Ltd., a developer and supplier of in-car DVR systems, action cameras, and mobile phone accessories and founded in 2012 as a joint venture of the KYE System Group, gives a negative answer by launching its UC-MFIM series cables at the Computex Taipei 2015.

Embodying ONPRO's constant pursuit of personalized designs for electronic devices, the UC-MFIM features a jacket finished to value-added surface with hemp patterns and in different colors, including silver and gold. This unique design brings a makeover to conventional mobile phone cables that only have stereotyped images and monotonous exterior given by plastic materials.

Only three years old, ONPRO has built a high profile as a distributor of HP-branded in-car DVR systems in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Drawing on its successful marketing, the burgeoning company has just begun marketing such products under its own brand of “ONPRO” since last year, and effectively gained a solid ground in the competitive landscape with its in-car cameras that are built to high specifications, diverse functionality and unique exterior.

The firm's high-end model, GT-Z01, for instance, is built with a 155-degree extra wide angle lens, F1.9 aperture (incorporated with 6glass plus IR infrared filter), 2.7-inch TFT LCD wide-angle viewing monitor and touchscreen with 1080P full high definition and WDR (wide dynamic range), coupled with other practical functions, including a fatigue detection system, speed limit alert system and GPS, as well as a basic geometry, to achieve an intelligent driving ecosystem.

To better make the upmost of its R&D talent, ONPRO has also launched other products, including Bluetooth-enabled speakers, USB chargers, mobile power supplies and micro USB cables, most of which have enjoyed high popularity with consumers. At this year's Computex Taipei, the R&D-driven company will showcase not just the brand new lightning cable mentioned above, but a 3-port USB car charger, shockproof iPhone 6 case and newer Bluetooth-enabled portable speakers.

ONPRO's president B.H. Cheng states that although beginning by being a distributor for other branded vendors and then venturing into developing an own brand, his company has consistently focused on the motto of “High C.L.A.S.S. (high style, class, quality and level)” as the backbone of its business, and insistently brought the best products to market. For example, ONPRO's MA-SP03 metallic Bluetooth-enabled portable speaker is remarked for a premium, designer-good image and excellent price-performance ratio, achieved by not only its sleek metallic exterior, but a newer digital decoder to address a sound breaking up problem, audio noise reduction system, hands-free calling and built-in high-capacity battery that allows about 8 hours of continuously music-playing time. This product reflects the blooming company's constant effort on unique R&D and special marketing strategies to differentiate itself from competitors.
