Apple Event's Possible Tablet Reveal Benefits Taiwanese Suppliers

With the COVID-19 pandemic accelerating the implementation of online distance learning and teleworking, Apple has jumped on these trends to focus on rolling out or refreshing its existing tablets. Currently, a USD$299 10.2" iPad for educational and office purposes is slated for a reveal, with industry experts forecasting good times for Taiwanese suppliers like Foxconn, Compal, PCB-maker Compeq, FPC-makers Flexium Interconnect, and Zhen Ding Technology.
The suppliers mentioned above have yet to comment on the news. However, media reports indicate the newest iPad addition could bolster sales for any-layer HDI and high-end FPC production in Q4, and stabilize market prices. In terms of assembly, Foxconn is still Apple's primary supplier; however, reports indicate ADE Technology is handling a portion of orders.
