Founded in 1971, Kuo's Gang Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. Is one of the most experienced specialist makers of tissue-paper converting machines on the island. All of its technology is self-developed. The company has won praise from its clients worldwide for high quality and durability.

With over 30 years of experience, Kuo's Gang can manufacture a wide range of tissue-paper converting machines, divided into six major product lines: table-napkin converting machines, hand-towel converting machines, facial-tissue converting machines, fully automatic pocket-tissue folding & packing & labeling machines, complete lines for toilet/kitchen paper-roll converting machines, and packing machines for tissue paper. All models fully meet CE standards and specific national standards in the U.S. and Europe.

Kuo Yu-li, the company president, says that Kuo's Gang has the ability to supply almost any type of converting machine according to customer specifications. "Our reasonable prices and superior quality allow us to compete confidently in the international market and take orders from all over the world," he comments. The company turns out about 30 to 40 units annually.

The company is now hard at work on the development of fully automatic converting/packing lines that are expected to markedly increase processing speed. The proprietary technology being perfected for this integration, says Kuo, will give the company a key competitive advantage.

The majority of the firm's output is shipped to Europe, America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. In order to meet the growing demand for environment-friendly equipment in the field, the company is systematically upgrading its models to enable processing of both recycled paper and virgin cellulose-which has been drawing attention, in particular, from Europe and America.
