AC Power Corp. of Taiwan recently demonstrated its brand-new APU advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment series, featuring unmatched user-friendliness and comprehensive functions. The APU series consists of about 30 models, with power output ranging from 10 KVA to 80 KVA.

The new APU series models has several notable features, including:

1. Industrial-grade quality and functions

2. LCD touch-screen control panel for easy operation

3. Comprehensive interface extension capability, including DB-9,
RS-232/485, GPIB, Ethernet connection, IEEE-1394,
USB, SNMP and NMS

4. Built-in independent three-face inverter to support even 100% unbalanced load

The new UPS system is suitable for server/data storage systems, computers, copiers/printers, communication systems, auto-test equipment, alarm/security systems, measuring instruments, and medical monitoring systems. The sophisticated protection functions of the APU series can effectively protect connected devices from current surges or electricity-flow instability.

AC Power has also recently rolled out a high-end APS series of solid-state-type power-line conditioners. According to the company, the APS series features many characteristics including clean output waveform, fast response time, automatic electronic bypass, energy saving, and compact size.
