Hsin Lun Specializes in Steering, Suspension Parts

Established in 1961, Hsin Lun Industrial Co., Ltd. (HLC) is an ISO 9001-approved maker specializing in manufacturing aftermarket (AM) automotive suspension and steering parts, including stabilizer links, ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arms.

Sean Chen, HLC sales manager, claims that his company is the most experienced and largest supplier of stabilizer links in Taiwan, supplying more than 800 links for over 1,000 Japanese, American, European, and Korean car models.

HLC supplies stabilizer links made in steel, aluminum, and engineering-grade plastic (which are mainly used in Japanese cars). All of the company's products are tested in-house using precision testing equipment under the most stringent standards for hardness, pulling and dragging forces, and continuous operation (more than one million cycles). According to Chen, HLC commissions the most advanced materials laboratories in Taiwan to inspect the material composition of its original equipment (OE) items and manufactures these products with unmatched experience and technical know-how.

Such a serious attitude toward quality, functionality and durability has won HLC a good global reputation, making the company's products widely welcomed by customers in Central and North Europe, the U.S., and Japan. About half of HLC's products are sold under the HLC brand, while the rest are supplied to many large international auto-parts brands on an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) basis.

After gaining a solid foothold in the AM parts market, HLC has also joined talks with local Taiwan automakers about supplying OE parts in the future.

In recent years, HLC has diversified its product lines into other suspension and steering parts items such as tie rod ends, control arms, and ball joints to meet the requirements of its customers. Currently, the company also concentrates on supplying higher-end aluminum products primarily to German luxury car brands Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

HLC runs an integrated and modern plant in Taichung in central Taiwan, where the company uses its self-developed, specific-use production and processing equipment to assure the highest quality and production efficiency. The 35-worker facility produces a monthly output of 80,000 to 100,000 items.
