Hence long-term rigidity and accuracy in high speed machining are guaranteed.
Casting structures are repeatedly analyzed by principles of elasticity theory to obtain optimal span and section modulus. Symmetrical support design also effectively balances thermal and cutting stress. Honeycomb casting ribs are used to resist flexural and torsion loadings under optional span while generating minimum deflections.
