* Enter Taiwan at THS 2011 The 11th Annual Taiwan Hardware Show will be held from October 20th to 22nd, 2011 in Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. Over 350 exhibitors are expected to set up over 600 booths to cater to an estimated 25,000 trade visitors this year. The exhibit profile will be more diverse including 8 zones: Tools & Accessories, Locks & Fittings, Fasteners & Fittings, Building Supplies, Garden & Outdoor Equipment, Automotive Supplies & Accessories, Machines & Plant Equipment, and Safety Equipment & Products. Many of the major local and international players in the hardware industry are already on board after impressive results at THS 2010. Conferences and seminars will be held concurrently in our conference room to facilitate networking opportunities, analyze the latest insights and market trends, and discuss industry development and best practices. Snapshot on the sucess of THS 2010 In 2010, 18,461 professionals buyers from 65 countries visited THS and international visitor turnout increased by a stunning 36% over THS 2009. Hardware associations from China, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, Malaysia, and Iran visited THS 2010 to network and check out the latest in product offerings. The number of exhibitors at THS increased from 189 in 2009 to 233 in 2010, a remarkable increase of 23.3%. The forum section of THS featured talks on current trends and future prospects of the European DIY market, protection of intellectual property in the hardware industry, and a discussion on the potential impact of the recently passed Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) between Taiwan and Mainland China on the Taiwan Hand Tool Industry.
