SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT - Motorcycle Parts & Accessories
In Indonesia, the motorcycle is still a preferred mode of transportation. In 2008 the motorcycle industry in Indonesia enjoyed brisk sales, achieving 33.24 percent growth. Prospects in the year 2009 continued to be good. Global recession since early 2008 did not affect the demand for motorcycle.
National motorcycle industry continues to experience growth. This is primarily driven by the low cost of ownership and the flexibility and ease of riding a motorbike. The lack of an integrated mass transportation system works well for motorcycle industry.

The Indonesian automotive industry looks set for a bright and sparkling future. The global automotive industry is witnessing great change with a slow but gradual shift towards Asian countries. The principal markets that are slated to drive the Asian automotive industry are China, India and ASEAN nations. Indonesia’s advantage of a huge domestic market is expected to boom with incremental coming from trade with the other Asian economies.
