FOUR DAYS FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY More than 22 thousand professionals from the automotive industry and car enthusiasts accepted the invitation to visit the AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY FAIR and POZNAŃ AUTOMOTIVE MEETINGS 2009. Vehicle service, diagnostics, spare parts and accessories - these themes reflect the scope of the AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY FAIR, which featured 350 companies from 11 countries. Exhibitors showcased a comprehensive range of equipment for car repair shops, vehicle testing stations and car washes, along with spare parts and components, automotive electronics, car alarms and anti-theft systems, supplies, car accessories, car maintenance and care products, as well as offers for tuning fans. More than 130 new products were exhibited at TTM 2009, giving professional visitors an opportunity to see an extremely rich variety of recent product launches. They included tools and devices applied in garages and tire shops, a mobile repair equipment kit, complete diagnostic lines as well as individual testing, measurement and control devices, automotive parts and components, anti-theft solutions, accessories, as well as cleaning and maintenance equipment and products. The exposition was complemented by numerous special events, e.g. live car repair shop equipped with cutting-edge devices, a special exposition entitled "Model School", and conferences - "Technical inspections in vehicle testing stations" and "Workshop Forum". All the attractions were accompanied by the POZNAŃ AUTOMOTIVE MEETINGS car show. Its visitors could see a wide range of family cars, luxury limousines, sports coupes, off-road vehicles and SUVs, as well as cars for collectors and concept vehicles. Some of the models presented, although not yet available in showrooms, could already be admired by the audience in Poznań. The special guest of DesignForum 2009 - Janusz Kaniewski, the Polish designer cooperating with such studios as Pininfarina - conducted workshops for young car designers. MTP grounds attracted fans of tuned cars as well. The Opening of the Tuning Season gathered both clubs associating owners of particular makes, and individual owners of more or less tuned vehicles.
