The EDM can be used to machine superhard materials that are difficult to machine by conventional cutting methods and molds and parts of complex shapes of cavities and cavities.
It is commonly used to process conductive materials. It can process deep-bore, shaped holes, deep grooves, narrow slits, threaded holes and other molds on difficult-to-machine materials such as titanium alloy, tool steel, carbon steel and hard alloy.
