This harmonic damper pulley holding tool has been developed to aid in the removal and installation of the crank bolt on most Lexus & Toyota passenger car engine.
These damper pulleys need a special tool to hold the pulley stationary for the center bolt to be removed. The bolt is extremely tight and without the FT-210, removal is extremely difficult at best without removing the radiator. In replacing the center bolt after installation of the pulley, factory specifications require 280 pounds of torque to seat the pulley properly. This tool allows the factory torque to be attained with out using chain wrenches or use of impact.

This holding tool works with the following engines:
Lexus 1990 and later: 3.0 L6, 3.0 V6, 3.3 V6, 4.0 V8, 4.3 V8, 4.7 V8.
Toyota 1992 and later: 3.0 V6, 3.3 V6, 4.0 V6, 4.7 V8.
