三義鄉農會近年來積極轉型，除了推動地方休閒產業發展，提高農民所得外，農會於2007年開始以當地生產之苦茶籽，提煉出高品質的苦茶油，也積極發展苦茶油系列商品，例如：沐浴露、洗髮露等，其他商品陸續在研發進行中，未來會有更多精緻的農特產品上市。
