The Show attracts an impressive number of visitors: there were 96,250 in 2006, with 5,149 foreigners representing 82 countries. The visitors are highly qualified: results at the 25.BI-MU indicate that most visitors (87%) are involved in company purchasing decisions (20.3% in absolute autonomy, 49% within the scope of investment advisory teams and 18.3% for specialist opinions). There is major interest in all technological sections of the exhibition: 18.3% of visitors to the 25.BI-MU focused especially on cutting systems, 14.4% on tools, 10.8% on deformation, 10.8% on robotics, handling and assembly, 10.7% on components and accessories, 7.6% on CAD/CAM/CAE software, 6.7% on metrology, 5.4% on treatments and finishes, 5.1% on dies, 4.3% on welding and 5.9% on sub-contracting and other fields.
