Excel Hardware Industrial Co., Ltd., established in September 1978, specializes in the development and manufacture of turning parts and screw machine parts.

The company has built strong expertise in the design and manufacture of metal NC & CNC (computerized numerically controlled)-machining and RF (radio frequency) connectors for the automobile, consumer electronics, transportation industries. The complete range of the RF connectors is comprehensively used in the cellular telecommunication industry.

The ISO9001-certified company operates two plants, one each in Kaohsiung County of southern Taiwan, and Ningbo of mainland China. Most of the company's products are made on the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) basis. The firm's major export outlets are the U.S., Canada, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe.

Michael Chang, president of the company, says his company has many well-experienced technicians who can design and manufacture specialized products in accordance with the original drawings offered by customers.

Over the past several years, the company has installed a spate of advanced production equipment and inspection instruments to ensure high quality of products. Major production equipment installed in the company's plants are CNC automatic lathes, auto lathes, multi-spindle CNC lathes, bench-type lathes, drilling machines, tapping machines, slotting machines, and thread-rolling machines.

Its quality-control devices include network analyzer, optical gage, insulation resistance tester, dielectric withstanding voltage tester, contact resistance tester, force gauge, pin gauge, 2.5D profile projector, and non-contact video measuring system.
