Hwa Hsing Screw Industry Co., Ltd., founded in September 1973, is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of a wide range of screws. The company uses high-grade materials produced by China Steel Corporation to make high-end screws.

The ISO9001:2000-certified firm says it has installed an advanced nickel-belt screw-making machine from South Korea to ensure the quality of its products. The company's customers mainly come from furniture, machinery and automotive industries. Customized screws of unique designs are also welcomed.

At present, the company's major product lines include chipboard screws, self-drilling screws, wood screws, drywall screws, tapping screws, machine screws and collated screws. The company currently is capable of rolling out 2,000 tons of screws per month.

Hwa Hsing president Jim Chen notes his company has accumulated much experience to develop high-end products and has won good reputation both at home and abroad. To meet influx of orders from abroad over the past several months, the firm will boost production capacity by launching plant expansion in the foreseeable future.

In addition to domestic sales, the company has exported products to the international arenas, mainly mainland China, Southeast Asia, the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Europe. Recently the company has resolved to tap emerging markets the world over to expand sales.
