Today, the company supplies around 400 types of LED lighting fixtures, which are equipped with high-power LED emitters from Cree. All of its fixtures go to public work projects.
Major buyers of the company's products are in Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with European buyers alone taking up 80% of the company's 90% exports. The company set aside 10% of its output for domestic sales.
Every year, the company introduces around 50 new types. Recently, the company has made available its 7.2W and 8.5W ceiling lights.
Howell was founded in 2000 in Ninbo of mainland China to make aluminum die-cast lighting fixtures for generic light sources. It started producing LED lighting fixtures three years later and has today completely focused on the new business. It runs manufacturing facilities in Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces and a technology support center in the capital city of Beijing.
