Excel Hardware Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 by parent Swi-Kuo Industrial Co. to expand overseas market for auto maintenance hardware.

To ratchet up production capacity, Excel established Ningbo Swi-Kuo Machinery Co. in Ningbo of Zhejiang province, China in 2002. The Ningbo subsidiary began introducing ISO9001 quality management system and acquired international certificates in 2003.

The Ningbo Swi-Kuo inaugurated a second plant in August 2007 with the addition of two new departments, including stamping and zinc-aluminum die-casting.

Expanding production capacities over the past few years, Excel has gradually become one of the world's most famous suppliers of non-standard hardware and auto maintenance parts. Moreover, its products have been widely recognized by the supply chains of European and U.S. automakers and professional buyers.

At present, Excel's major product lines include internal parts of engines, transmission systems, braking systems, parts of safety system, and customized auto maintenance parts, which are applied to a wide range of industries.

Most of the company's products are made on the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) basis. The company's major export outlets are the U.S., Canada, Southeast Asia, Latin America and European Union. Approximately 60% of its output are sold to the EU market as its products comply with such standards as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)and Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS).

Over the past several years, the company has installed a spate of advanced production equipment and inspection instruments to turn out high-quality products. Major production equipment installed in the company's plants include CNC automatic lathes, auto lathes, multi-spindle CNC lathes, bench-type lathes, drilling machines, tapping machines, slotting machines, and thread-rolling machines.
