Yin Shin Hardware Industry Co., Ltd., founded in June 1987, is a specialized maker in Taiwan of assorted fasteners for wide ranging applications. Initially the maker was a wholesaler of hexagonal bolts and nuts, but in 1989, by tapping its experience in making fasteners, transformed itself into a maker of fasteners for all kinds of applications.

Besides having the know-how to develop various lengths screws, nuts, architectural hardware, ferrous pipes, spare parts and cast pipes, this maker began to produce basic parts for motorcycles six years ago.

With a monthly capacity of about eight million fasteners, this maker mainly turns out fasteners for cars and motorcycles, heavy-duty hex nuts, tubes, nuts of various configurations, structural nuts, collars, oil pan plugs etc.

To ensure high product quality, Yin Shin has in-house various inspection instruments, including surface roughness tester, tensile (compression) strength tester, thread plug gauge, thread ring gauge, height gauge, concentricity gauge, Rockwell hardness tester, 2.5D projector, micrometer etc., as well as carrying out a strict inspection process before shipment. Using such QC instruments enables the maker to be certified to international standards as PPAP, IMDS, ISO9001:2008, ISO/TS16949:2002, and ISO14001:2004.

Many suppliers of motorcycle parts in SE Asia regard highly Yin Shin's emphasis on maintaining high-quality products. Also this export-oriented firm has set up a branch in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China to more efficiently offer services to customers there. (BS)
