SMC Corp. builds high-quality agricultural and gardening tools, including water pumps, backpack power sprayers, and hedge trimmers, driven by engine technologies licensed by HONDA and other well known manufacturers.

Its agricultural tools mostly use HONDA GX25/GX35 mini four-stroke OHC engines and GX160 commercial-grade engines, which are noted for lightweight, low noise, easy operation and fuel efficiency.

Also a supplier of eco-friendly tools, the company's products meet clean-air requirements set by the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), California Air Resources Board (CARB) and CE of Europe; while its factory is ISO9001:2008 approved.

In addition to supplying Kawata-branded products, the company is also an OEM and ODM for brand-name suppliers.
