The company first began in the furniture industry as early as 1987 under another name and produced mainly metal tubes for local customers fabricating beach chairs, dining chairs, fitness equipment or medical equipment. Not until 1997 did the company, after rebranding itself as Chia Chi Ya and transforming into a developer and manufacturer of OA furniture.
Tapping health-enhancing concepts, the company has developed various ergonomic OA chairs that are internationally certified with BIFMA and SGS, as well as patented in the U.S., Japan, China and Taiwan. (JL)
