Established in 1980, Tai Ching Machinery Hardware Co., Ltd. diversified its business into the hand-tool sector when it was renamed in 1990 from Yung Hsieh Hsing Hardware Corp.

Currently, the company supplies a variety of quality clamps and clips (innovative gun-type, parallel, quick, tube/hose clamps, spring clips etc.). With its vigorous efforts in the clamp business, the firm has become a major developer of such tools in the international market.

Tai Ching recently unveiled its TC-1079 adjustable clamp, an evolutionary type of such tool. The distance between the innovative clamp's jaws can be extended from 0mm to 180mm, while the clamp's light, quick released trigger can greatly enhance the operating convenience.

Tai Ching says that the TC-1079 is suitable for applications at workshops, gardens, garages etc. for crafting works. Its body is made of nylon plus fiberglass, and the jaws are covered by thermoplastic rubber (TPR).
