The company recently unveiled two advanced active safety products. One is the Blind Spot Detection system that can pre-warn approaching vehicles in their side "blind spots" when changing the lanes to avoid or reduce the accident severity of side-related accidents. The system, VAE-740, pre-warns the driver using the relative speed between the host vehicle and the approaching vehicle to issue a visual alert.

The Other is the Forward Collision Warning (FCWS) VAE-720, the system is a vision-based active safety solution for vehicle accident prevention and injuries mitigation by using image recognition technologies. It detects and measures the vehicles ahead, pre-warns the drivers and estimates a high risk for collision by audio and visual alerts. (QL)
